IN FOAL!
We are excited
to announce that Amber
has been checked in foal
to ApHC Stallion Oughta
Be Obvious for a 2012
foal.
We will be posting a
photo of the stallion on
our Stallions page soon.
Amber
is
a 2006 registered
Appaloosa mare.
She is a solid dun mare
with a performance
permit issued for show
purposes. She was
purchased by HCF as a
weanling and started her
show career as a
weanling. She has
received Appaloosa
points in both Open
Halter Mares as well as
Youth Halter
Mares. She was
shown only as a weanling
and yearling then
started under saddle as
a two year old.
Amber is also incredibly
balanced and athletic as
a riding horse.
She has been trail
ridden, introduced to
cattle work as well as
reining, and has the
smooth rhythmic rocking
chair lope of a western
pleasure horse.
She has all of the
qualities that we look
for in the all
around/versatile
horse. Her
conformation is
excellent and she is up
to any task asked of
her. She is also
very striking. She
is in foal for her first
time. We are
looking forward to her
baby in 2012!
Miss Vida Luka
(Missy)
Missy is a 2008
registered
Appaloosa
mare. She
is a sorrel with
all of the
Appaloosa color
characteristics.
She was acquired
by HCF early in
her two year old
year. She
had no show
experience prior
to arriving at
HCF. She
was shown on a
limited basis (2
shows) in 2010
and received
Appaloosa points
in Non Pro
Halter
Mares.
With her strong
pedigree, she
has great
genetic
potential and
will most likely
be bred in
2012. She
also has
terrific
conformation
with solid
hooves and
legs. She
will continue
her show career
until she
becomes a
broodmare.
We also plan to
start her under
saddle.
She is offered
for sale. |
