Jeff and Anita traveled south for one of their favorite Appaloosa shows of the year, the Southern Hospitality Show.  This year Anita competed in Open and Non Pro Halter classes with A Two Eyed Classic (Riley) and Miss Vida Luka (Missy).  With this being the first show of the year, they were pleased with their results.  Both horses received national ApHC points.

This was Jeff and Anita’s first trip to the Keystone Classic, the largest Appaloosa regional show in the nation.  Missy received ApHC national points in both Open and Non-Pro Halter.  Although Riley did not receive any national points at this show, Anita was proud of his results in large classes (20 horses in Open Aged Geldings).  A side trip to the Amish country of Lancaster, PA was also enjoyed during this weekend show.

Jeff and Anita headed south once again for their first show experience at this facility at Lake Waccamaw, NC.  This show provided a very enjoyable relaxing environment at the show grounds.  The results of this show were a great example of the successful progression of the fitting and training of these halter horses.  Missy received her first ever Grand Champion Mare accomplishment and received multiple national ApHC points.  Riley also received multiple firsts and seconds with several national ApHC points, completing his Open Halter Register of Merit.  A delightful side trip to Ocean Isle Beach was also included in this weekend trip.
